I grew up in a small town in northern Michigan and went to college at Michigan State University.  Ever since I moved to Chicago in 2008, I have loved living in this wonderful city!  I received my Master of Education from DePaul University after student teaching in a Chicago Public School in the spring of 2011.  I was fortunate enough to be hired as a morning teacher at the Resurrection Preschool!  I have had a fantastic year teaching and have enjoyed every minute working in such a supportive environment.  I look forward to the many experiences yet to come. 

I live in the Wrigleyville neighborhood and enjoy my five minute walk to work every morning.  When I can, I try to make it to the many museums and attractions around the city, although I still look like a tourist when I'm gawking at the skyscrapers downtown.  My favorite places in the city are the Museum of Science and Industry and Horner Park.  Whenever I can, I try to make the six hour drive to the Traverse City, Michigan area where my family and many friends still live.
