Sunday School at Resurrection is not just for children! Learning and growing is part of a disciple of Christ's lifelong journey, so we meet to explore and study our faith in a conversational and supportive way each Sunday morning starting about 9:50am.
How do our Lutheran beliefs, values and worldview compare with those of our neighbors in other traditions? Based on requests from participants in previous studies, we will spend time beginning to know and understand some other faiths. Beginning October 7th, conversations will take place Sunday Mornings at adult forum between worship services and Sunday Evenings over potluck dinners in the parish hall at 5:30pm. (Dinner gatherings will be followed by optional outings to nearby Sheffield's for those who are able to share drinks and wish to continue the conversation.)
A sign-up sheet will soon be posted for volunteers to provide the theme, main course, and organization for each week's dinner gathering.
The class will work from the resource book
Honoring Our Neighbor's Faith, published by Augsburg Frotress. If you wish to order a book through Resurrection for $10, notify
Doreen in the church office by October 1st.
October 7 through December 2.
Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM and Sunday evenings at 5:30 PM in the parish hall.
Other topics in recent years have included Christian discipleship, book studies, the world's religions, faith and politics, faith and food, prayer, and various social issues.
